From what I can gather, its not the retail disc and is a promo disc hence why its been nuked.

Its very unlikely its safe for live.

Yes, its likely to be the same as the full retail game however, no one can tell without comparing the two.

If its promo, you never know who might be watching your console so not at all safe for live. Look at the hassle Fallout, deadspace, fable 2 etc caused around November.

As for crackdown. You'll find it on usenet and get a decent speed. Stop being so cheap.
